Longer answer: The stories are multicultural, though none of the people are wholly human. The guys would say they are jackals first, human second, and the witches would say they are born of Isis magic in human form. Most of the jackals and Isis witches are Egyptian or Egyptian descent. The older ones are Egyptian/Nubian/Kemetic and so on. Both groups have needed to augment their numbers over the centuries, so there will be a mix of Roman, Greek, African, and Middle Eastern ancestry in some of the younger ones, and the witches especially.

Tia, the heroine of the first story, is African American and Egyptian, as she was born in the US. Markus, the hero, is Egyptian. Amarie, the heroine of the second story, is a jackal and a Heinz 57 mix born in Canada. Of her heroes, Kurik is a red-headed Egyptian and Rashon is Nubian-Egyptian. For the third story, Rana is Nubian-Egyptian and Hector is Greek-Egyptian. Should hte fourth story happen, you will have an Egyptian Isis witch and a Greek-Egyptian jackal.
